Inference

I can infer that nowadays, many young people are not sastisfied with their appearences and hence turn to plastic surgery to give them a much more beautiful look.Increasingly popular among youngsters these days are more invasive procedures like double eyelid surgery and liposuction. As a result, there is a 30% increase in young people below the age of 21 going for plastic surgery, over the last five years.

Question at issue

The question at issue is why do youngsters want to go for plastic surgery?I believe that one reason is to make themselves more beautiful as they are not contented with their appearances. Another reason is that they are being influenced by the media. When they see their favourite celebrities with their enhanced features, they want the same. Greater awareness of plastic surgery is another factor, as with the Internet, information about various procedures is easily available.

Purpose

I believe that this article is to raise awareness for plastic surgery, from the article, I can see that it is in favour of plastic surgery, as it is full of positive words on plastic surgery and no negative words, it offers plastic surgery as an alternative for people displeased with their appearences, for those people to obtain a more pleasant appearance, having a nicer appearance helps to improve the self-confidence of that individual.

Evidence/ Data
As a result od a check done by the Sunday Times, with nine plastic surgeons and aesthetic doctors here shows about a 30 per cent increase in young clients, below the age of 21, over the last five years. A decade ago, many young clients would ask for simple procedures like ear pinning, which brings the ears closer against the head. But increasingly popular among youngsters these days are more invasive procedures like double eyelid surgery and liposuction.
